Great place to eat

First time here. Lots of history. The place is cute, but the staff seemed overwhelmed. I sat at the counter, great home made sausage and bread.

We've been here a couple times I get the chicken sandwich it's really good my husband gets the burger and fries there always nice good service in and out in timely manner.

Port Henry is a really quaint little town but there are not too many amenities. The dinner has a very long, old history and had been remodeled with many of the original pieces in place. I have less starts because I had bacon for breakfast which was rancid. I was given a flimsy excuse of the bacon being exchanged without the owner's approval. It was hickory bacon. I have eaten hickory bacon before, for nothing tastes good when rancid. I was not offered a substitute, replacement, nor given a reduction in my bill. My husband did not have any problems with his meal.

Nice little dive, good service, friendly waitress, only open until 2pm

A guy from the neighbor town suggest this place. It was very good and not expensive at all. Nice little discovery.

Go there. Right now. Order the steak and eggs. Or the corned beef hash. Eat. Be happy.

This little diner is a MUST try. The food is amazing regardless of what you order it’s by far the best I’ve ever had. It’s fast and the staff is very polite and the prices can’t be beat. This is a step back In time in both price and atmosphere. Food this good is rarely seen anymore.

Okay the food was top notch! However the service was atrocious!!! The server took so long to come back each time it felt like she had to of been on her phone; there was only 3 other customers there!!

Wow! What a hidden gem! Burger meat ground to order and tasty, delicious homemade bread, slaw to write home about. and very friendly owner and staff. Will make it a repeat destination for sure.

City was beautiful, this was a nice historic spot. Server was super nice. Food was alright. Brioche bun was good. They sell local wares like jams and syrups.

This is a local Treasure! Built from an old railroad car. Food is homemade & delicious!A great way to catch up w/ the local community. Everyone is soooo friendly & more than willing to offer suggestions to visitors!I highly recommend this hidden jewel!
